Default Mountians + C5 = Fun!

Just returned from a trip to the Mountains of Tenn./NC.
There's is one thing for sure, Take one mildly modded C5, put Nitto R2s on it, and take a trip to the mountains and you WILL have FUN!!!

Ya that's always good fun! The closest thing to that road around here is Hwy 9. It runs from Los Gatos to Santa cruz, CA through the mountains. It's a blast.

Ha, I just got back from the same trip yesterday!

The Tail of the Dragon was fun but I actually liked the Cherohala Skyway better. I was really suprised that there was very little traffic there. I think we saw about 5 cars and 10 bikes the whole way. Make sure you do the loop if you ever go.

The road from Bryson City to Franklin was a good one too, although there was a lot more traffic. I can't wait to make another trip back!

Not bad actually.. There was some bad spots in the roads, but they were rougher on the suspension and tires than the spoiler

"Since when does BOTTLE FED etc. = "mildly modded?" "

I left the bottle at home These engines still have enough torque to make it an easy drive.

I love those LOOPS!!!! (Never did get the Nittos to slip, no matter how hard I pushed.. ) and of course I'm one of those "kids" that has to "blow the horn" in every tunnel

We go up to the mountains every other month or so, driving the Z on the trip is the best part.

That is a beautiful area for a drive. Some day I hope to take a visit the Tail of the Dragon also.

Driving too fast for photo's.
Actually we did take a couple of photo's of the car with the mountains in the background. Hadn't had a chance to look at them yet, but if they turned out, I could send to one of you guys to post (or spend a little time to figure it out again)
I would assume all of you would want the photo with my wife in it instead of me
