Ran the car at FunFest today the car is bone stock and has about 4400 miles, and borken in right.
Here is my best pull:
352.6 HP.....414.82...divided by .85
344.2 TQ....404.94...divided by .85
Damn, I was wondering how much the Z06's were pulling! I saw this red one open up the other day, and I know you guys must be making some horsies. Good job! :yesnod:
Results might be closer if you multiply by .85 and not divide by .85. :yesnod:
I hope your joking there! :jester I don't think he has 299.71 HP at the crank and 352.6 HP at the rear wheels! :D (352.6 X .85 = 299.71)
I find it interesting that if you take like 18% to 20% drivetrain loss into effect those RWHP numbers are about 430 to 440 Crank HP. I say the 18% to 20% loss for on a friends car ('97 Camaro SS) he dynoed the motor and then afterwards he then did a Rear Wheel dyno (6 speed car) and ended up having 18% loss in the drivetrain. With the live rear axle of the Camaro it's suppose to, from what I hear, have less drivetrain loss than that of the IRS of the C5 Vette.
Just some things I've heard though. I haven't done any testing on my own to know those things I typed above for sure (wish I could though!) Even taking 15% loss into account 415 HP is still a good number no two ways about it!
