Yes, you can remove. Most here use monofilament fishing line and a hair dryer to remove BSMs. Then remove the glue, wax, and you're done. Do a search of CF, there are tons of threads discussing this.

I have a better solution. Go to an auto paint shop. Get 3M adhesive remover (about $12) soak the BSM from the top. Use a teflon kitchen spatula to lift the BSM & keep adding 3M. getting the residual adhesive is the worst part. You can roll most of the adhesive off with you thumb. I finished by using my circular buffer. I did it this way. 35 minutes to remove the BSM 2 hrs to get the adhesive off the car.
...ahhhh, rolling double sided tape off with your thumbs. I've gotten some of my best blisters doing that...
I think it's 3M that makes a hand drill attachment disc that supposedly will remove decals/adhesive etc w/o paint damage...sounds to good to be true so I continue to burn off my thumb prints...
