For all of those running B&B exhausts, What brand of x-pipe are you running and which has the best fitment? The Bassani and Corsa X pipes seem to work well from what I have read.

I assume if I go with Bullets and an X pipe, it will be loud, but I will still have my factory cats? so it wont be obnoxious?

This will also be the perfect time to install Koolmat in the tunnel, or a similiar product. Let me know what brand of insulation you went with.

No Idea, but are you in the right forum? If so, you need a new avatar.

Good Luck!

I have stock x pipe with my bullets. No real gains with after market x pipe with out headers and high flow cats.

Please elaborate. I'm guessing you are implying that I dont have the proper picture for C5.....I could really care less about an avatar. Who coined the term avatar anyway?

I'm running the quad-tip bullets with stock h-pipe right now. Most of the guys I know have the Bassani x-pipe or went with Dynatech's Supermaxx system. I'm going to wait until I do the Supermaxx system complete with headers and all. That should also get rid of the annoying rattle from the H-pipe.

One thing I will miss is the slight gurgle I get when decelling. I love the way that sounds, and I'm sure the x-pipe gets rid of that. Of course, the headers will make it louder, so I won't really mind too much!!

i got the b&b prt's with the x-pipe that ecc was offering with it. i love the added sound and it sounds smoother than just the mufflers. the stock h-pipe isn't really that efficient anyway.

I'm running a set of B&B Route 66s and installed the Bassani X-pipe. Not a single problem with fitment. My x-pipe was installed to help with resonance and popping I was having with the cat backs.

Running Z06 mid pipe (which eliminated the pre-cats) a Magnaflow X-pipe and B&B PRT's. I couldn't tell a difference in sound level with the stock h-pipe vs. the z06 & x-pipe. Was thinking it would be louder but really wasn't. Fit was OK, Had a buddy of mine with a lift do it, and it took him a VERY LONG time, but he made sure everything was perfect as far as cutting the stock mid pipe, deburring the cuts, etc..I wouldn't have bothered with an Xpipe but I bought and sold some TI mufflers and made a good enough profit to pay for the x-pipe so figured why not...
