Default X-Pipe

Recently installed Borla Stingers on the M6 Coupe. Love the sound but
would like to ease the popping on decel. Should I go with the Borla X-Pipe or is there a better option? Anyone running Borla/x-pipe I would
appreciate your suggestions. Also I installed the exhaust myself and
would like DIY the X-Pipe.

Any tips on install?

Thanks in advance!

Certainly. The popular 'true' x-pipes around here seem to be the Bassani and the Magnaflow X. I got my Bassani X off of eBay for $200 shipped.

VERY happy with it.

I'd recommend the Bassani X-pipe. Got it on my car and it did wonders for the resonance and popping my exhaust was making.

Default x pipe

Thanks for the replies! The Bassani looks like quality construction just
from what I have seen. May go with that one.

We recently had the Corsa "X" pipe and Pace car system w/ pro series tips installed, and we are not getting hardly any popping at all. At the NCMs C5,C6 Bash this year we also had a cold air induction system installed. What we are getting is a little back pressure build on deacceleration.

I have borla stingers w/ corsa X pipe. I added a calloway honker and the sound is great. It has a little popping on decel.

I've got the Stingers with LG longtubes and their x-pipe. Almost no popping on decelaration.

And it sounds VERY good.

I cant remember by the last time I was under the car, but is the x-pipe a true bolt on, or do you have to cut the H-pipe out?
Thanks

It usually replaces the center section, so the nice one's are bolt in.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I have the 4 tip version of the stingers to answer one of the questions. Just wondered about keeping Borla all the way but I do like the looks of the Bassani. May want to get header some day down the road.
