No, they are a soft material. If your air bag deploys, this will be the least worry.

Got it yesterday and it looks great. The only thought is that the poles and ring are silver...not exactly the 50th aniversary color! I have my 50th Lloyd's floor mats which you guys had done with the emblem and the poles and ring were gold and look great. Just a thought.
