Ebay bidder beware
I read on the Forum some time ago that people were getting Second Chance Offers on Vettes that they have Bid on but not won. Well it happen to me today. I knew it was not from ebay. So I did not have a problem. Just a reminder to be careful. Pass it on.

It happened to me a couple of months ago on E---. contacted the seller and he said it happens on a regular basis. That is one of the reasons I don't do business with that bunch, unless I am sure of the integrity of the seller. I also dropped my paypal account several months back for security reasons, and to date I have gotten four emails from paypal saying I have added an email address to my account.

Every time I get bogus 2nd chance offers. Usually form the UK or Canada.
I only bid to generate dialog between the REAL Seller. Then if a deal is in the works I'll fly out and do the deal in person.

I guess that I am lucky, haven't had any issues with ebay or paypal. Did get a couple of the bogus added email to paypal account. I just forwarded them to paypal and deleted the original.
