Clear 3M Bra
What kind of feedback can I get from those who have used the 3M clear bra on the front, hood and mirrors of a C6 or C5? How long have you had it and the installed price? Did you have it applied anywhere else? Door sill areas, wheel wells, under the rocker panels.
I'm looking at the Ultra Shield website which shows the C6 comes in 2 pieces: hood, fenders, mirrors and a separate piece for the front bumper with a total cost of $525 installed. There are also separate piexes for the headlight covers on the C6 but that is extra $.
My 2007 Black C6 should be here in a few weeks and I can't wait but I don't want the stone chips like I have on my C5.

I've had it installed on both of our C5's, a Jeep Liberty, and Toyota Avalon.
I used Ultra Shield of Saint Louis. Mark does a geat job.
On the C5's I had him do the whole front end, behind the front and rear wheels, also on the rocker panels where they wrap under the car and on the doors, the first four inches or so. Keep in mind that if you hit a huge rock it will damage the bra, but not the paint, as is is designed to do so. If you do damage a panel, Ultra Shield can cut a replacement piece for it. They have a computer program that runs to a cutter. The pieces are cut as needed. Not cheap, but well worth the price!
Keep in mind if you are going to install stripes, do it before the clear bra, just ask how I know this.
