If you're referring to the rubber boot that covers the lower portion of the shaft, mine came with one, but when we installed the shifter, we also reused the rubber boot/template that came with the stock shifter. I believe that we turned it inside out to work with the ripper, but it fit just fine.

Just install one in my car last night
I just installed one in my car last night (the newer model with the blue base). Just use the stock rubber and leather boots. I did have to push the rubber one a bit to get it to fit snuggly around the base of the shifter.
So far I really like it!
