Remember: Cold air makes power!!!

(No need to put the car away until they salt the roads...)

Enjoy!

Ah, the joys of living in Florida. Year around driving. I feel for you as I lived in Chicago and understand the winters and the salt on the roads.
Herte is hoping you have mild winter and can enjoy your C5.

Why put it away? I will agree that you don't want to take it out when the roads are sloppy, but there are days that I still get out in the winter - it's as much fun as driving in the summer. Just look for dry days (the colder it gets, the drier the roads are), and pick the less traveled roads so you don't get sand thrown at you.

Heat your garage, then throw some mods on it over the winter

Drive it on those cold dry days! That's what I did when living in the North 28 years ago

I'm in monroeville pa and i know how you feel i put the car away until inspection in April for me.I don't think their is any cure for not being able to drive the car for 5 or six months.Just put some sta-bil in your tank hook up a battery tender-plus and cover her up.Unless over the winter months you can add some mods to her if you want that might help you out alittle.
