Magnetic red ???

I see that there is magnetic red and a magnetic red II listed in the build sheets. Are they different colors?? Is Carmine red different?? and whwt years is Magnetic red availabe ??

They are all slightly different shades of metallic red. Carmine was available in 97-98, Magred 1 in '99 & early 2000, & MR II from 2000-2005. imho, MR II is the best of the lot.

Edit - MR II was not available in 2003 (replaced by the Anniversary Edition red metallic).

Carmine was in '97 and '98, mag red was in '99, and '00, and the mag red II was in '01 up. At least this is what I remember anyway.

I had a MR II 2000 coupe, built in Nov '99. It was clearly different when parked next to a MR I car at a show - a much "brighter" color.
