Default Decided to keep the C5

The weather has gotten pretty crappy in Chicago, except for the last 2 days, so I have not driven the Vette for like 2.5 weeks. Since I am in the market for my first house and getting approved for a mortgage amount that I want, the thought of selling the Vette seemed like a good idea; NOT! after driving it today - I musta been . I'd rather do an 80, 10, 10, than an 80, 20 - just to keep her mine forever.

I even brought up the idea, and my newly-wed wife (married in August '06) said she would never want me to sell the Vette. wife, then again her cute 25 y.o. azz prolly likes driving it more than me.

I am all smiles today even after over 5 years and 50,000 miles - I think I love her more and more everytime I drive her.

Dayyum cold air adds some serious power and less traction, dangerous combo - but fun, be careful out there gentlemen if you live in the North, put some air in your tires if you haven't already

Have a great weekend brothas...

Very too hear!

I hope everything works on in the housing market and that vette is going to look great with a garage wrapped around it!

My only input on our new house, is that it must have a two car garage

I would like to request a pic - you decide exactly what I am referring to...

humy,

I was going to ask how much you've been driving the vette this summer. What a lousy summer it's been here in Chicago this year. I've racked up a whole 800 miles since May and 30,000 total miles. I've decided to sell mine as I just can't justify a garage queen. My DD is an Acura MDX so I'm not suffering if she sells.

I'm guessing you'll revisit this topic when the bambinos start arriving.
