ANY ONE HAVE ANY GOOD TRICKS TO GET YOUR TOP LOOKING LIKE NEW.....I HAVE A COUPLE OF LIGHT MARKS ON IT.....SHOULD I USE A RAG TOP CLEANER???? OR SOME SORT OF ???. ANY SUGG.. ITS A BLACK TOP I WANT IT TO LOOK REALLLL DARRKKKK

I've used RaggTop cleaner with good results on my shale top. However, I doubt that it would darken a top unless the dirt/blemishes were what was making the top lighter.
there's a carpet/vinyl dye sold at most auto stores...duplicolor. If you want that deep black, it'll give it to you...I did one in gloss black and it's awesome looking...you'll only want a light mist coat . . .too much and it'll lose it's soft touch...
Clean it with soap and water and then use a Shop Vac to suck the dirt out. If it's never been done before you may want to do this 2 or 3 times till the water you suck out is clear. Then use Raggtop conditioner. My .02
I have a similiar problem with shiny spots on my Black cloth top. It looks like the fabric has rubbed smooth in places from being folded. I've tried various tricks including brushing and misting flat black paint, but they're still noticable. So I'm still looking for a fix.
Just used the protectant on Sunday after washing and letting dry.
I didn't need the cleaner this time.
After applying two coats (waiting 15-20 mins between) it made the top
look brand new and uniformly darker black. HTH
