Turbos is where its at and there are plenty of guys in the F/I section that have em. C5 gen is for exhaust, floormats and waxer mods Except for EG's Grond
You do know that a properly setup TT kit will make full boost 2000-3000RPM sooner than the centrifugal superchargers most people run?
As a result, pound for pound of boost, a TT will generally make considerably more torque. I have the dyno graphs to prove it (actually, on the same car, my TT made the same horsepower and 50ft/lb more torque with 1 psi less boost when compared to a centrifugal supercharger).

Which is why a centrifugal is an excellent choice for those with an already modded LS1 on a stock bottom end looking to make a few more ponies but only wants to unleash them when necessary.

But it's more fun to unleash them at 2200 rpm. I also run a stock bottom end and it runs like stock until i stomp on the gas. I have never rode in a supercharged vette but i love the fact that with a twin turbo it kicks in right away. I don't think i would like having to wait for a higher rpm before they are unleashed.

I cant contest to that, Hell I only rode in Dells car for maybe a mile, and I was impressed with the giddyup

that is the biggest complaint with centrifugals and is why some have decided to move on to somehting else. There is also the parasitic loss, even though its slight. There are benefits to centrifugals but is not so much on the performance end
The roots-type type SC (magnacharger) however does not perform like the above with the exception of a little parasitic loss. Unofortunatey the Magna has power limitations.
However, the screw-type SC (Kenne-belle sells one) kicks in even earlier than the magna and has gobbs of power
Well, it depends on what you want. THe TT only really kicks in at the later speeds. SO, it takes a while to feel its effect. A supercharger will give you more off the line quickens. WHen you compare a TT to a supercharger for off the line quickness, the Supercharger wins. TT are NOT fast off the line

Nope Its actually the opposite. My turbo "effect" as you call it kicks in at 2700 RPM and is full boost by 3000 perhaps even a tad under. Most comon SC's are centrifugals and full boost is not happening until the upper bands. So all things being equal concerning excellent grip, Centrifugal SC's will be slower off the line to a TT. This is really common knowledge
