Question about C5 driver seats??

I have owned a 99 FRC and now I have a 2001 Z06. I have noticed in both cars that the driver seat when I'm driving the car shuffles about 1/4 to 1/2 inch where your butt sits? It is very aggravating to me. Has anyone experienced this in their car or have I just been "lucky" and got 2 faulty seats. Any help is appreciated.

Do a search on "rocking chairs" or rocking seats. Lots of posts and a couple of fixes with instructions. One is fairly simple. I've never done it, but there are many who have.

Yup..

Mine slides back and forth when you start and stop. A small board in the back on the floor fixed it till winter...then I'll do the fix.
