most challenging opponents.
i recently got the newest edition of Dupont's annual lux car mag. among the 6 different vettes pictued (2 stock and 4 tuner cars) there were a few domestics that may give even the lingenfelter TT Z06 a good run for it's money (keep in mind the vette is still the best bargin for a true supercar)
some of the challengers include:
a Saleen S7 twin turbo V12
Henessy's new Twin turbo viper
Ford seems to be coming out with a new version of the GT 40 as well.
what are the most challenging opponents you've faced on the street/strip?

A heavilly modded supra claiming around 800rwhp. I was about 1/2 a mph faster from 60 to 170. Then he let off 
Here is the scary part.....I was on my high 9 second GSXR-1000.
Had it not been for the corner / bend, he would have roasted me on top end. (Mine was geared for top speed of 170 and I was bouncing off the limiter.) I just chucked it in to the corner cause I didnt want to lose.

My wife raced a turbo 1999 v6 camaro and got spanked. 
Her corvette was stock at the time though.
There are a lot of supercharged mustangs in pensacola, and they are all smokin fast. Some are 03 cobras with roots blowers, and there are several vortech blown stangs too.

I am consistantly getting spanked on by my buddies twin turbo supra... keep in mind I get him for about the first 1/4 to 1/2 mile.. but after that.. he's gone... but hey it's all about who wins the first 1/4 mile... isn't it????
