c6 wheels on c5

Default c6 wheels on c5

ok i just put c6 wheels on my c5......my tps wont read i tried doing the thing with the magnet and all trying to reset it.....but it wont catch.......do i have to put my c5 tps on the new wheels>???? or is there another way.....please help thank you......

Are you saying you left the C6 TPS on the C6 wheels? They will not work. Period. You need to put your original sensors back on or get a second set of C5 TPS. Bear in mind that they are specific to your year C5. There are '97-'00 sensors and '01 to '04 sensors.

I thought C6 sensors were the same as 01-04 sensors and should work on those C5 years. 97-00 won't work with C6 sensors.
