This is my 2nd, owned a '74 Hardtop 4 SPD L82 my JR and SR years of high school that me and my father restored. He passed in April of '03 1 month before I graduated. He sure would be proud of this new C5!
I was just on the C4 forum---remember my husband has a C4 and I need to keep up with the market for sales over there---but anywho--someone over there posted a thread and it went like this:
Let's here it:
your age
year of your car
and mods
It ended up being 10 pages long--and it got me wondering---is there a huge age differnce in the people that have C4's and the people that have C5's so I figured I'd try it to see.. Over there---most of the people with C4's are between 40 and 60 with a few in the younger age brackets---my husband thinks it's because that was "their" era of growing up---I still think it is just personal preference...So let's see it:
age
year of your car
Mods (some of you have way to many to list EG--Jim )
40
99 coupe
nothing just yet but as you know---I'm getting my list ready..
EDIT (12/14)---Mods: YEAH BB Bullets, complete blackout kit, front/rear lettering, blink kit, new targa top, new paint, Y2K chrome wheels and tires and new tire pressure sensors. Ok---all appearance mods but stil smilin....
We had a poll on this about a month ago I'm in the number one group at age 57
Age: 54
Vette: 00 Vert
Mods: All show.....not much go - Some vette essentials, Blackwing, GHL Bullets, Corvette Undies, CF under the hood, z06 wheels, custom powdercoated calipers, hood seal, euro's with "blink blink", Pioneer D1 w/double din setup, custom interior paint by C5Kidd, Homelink, Baer Eradispeeds, navigation rear mirror.......and so on.
