Default Tire Rub?

Trying to install 305/30YR-19 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 or 19x11 SSRs in th rear of 2001 Z06...and they don't fit (rubbing duct and top of wheel well). Are spacers a bad idea?

Bought the rims from Tirerack...they claimed the offset of the rim would be fine.

Offset for a 19x11 should be around 63mm.

I have had no problems with 305 rubbing, on a coupe...

Good Luck
Peace
Chip

Those rubbed with the car jacked up, but didnt when it was down on the ground, BUT in a bonehead move I had to clearance one of them by making a circle cut in the duct where it was rubbing, it's about 1.75 in diamater. I hope your offset is correct.

So if I jammed them in and dropped the jack, they may not rub?
