Your not alone, I go 2-3 weeks also. Sometimes in the winter, 4-5 weeks, depending on salt content. (I hate that liquid salt). So long as the seals stay moist, it will be ok. I read that you want to run the car at least monthly for 30minutes to lube the seals.
What in the hell are you guys in Tennessee and Virginia storing them for the winter for? Good grief, it's not like you've got snow on the ground 24x7 until April.
I dont store it, I just dont drive everyday, got a beater for that. Yes, I'm one of those people, own a vette, leave it covered in the garage and then treat myself whenever the mood arises. Its a sickness, I cant help it. In therapy now.
How long do you guys let your Corvette sit without staring her up. Mine is going on 3 weeks. Am I causing any damage by going this long? Thanks
Yes It will cause severe damage. Not to the car but to your mental well being. Get out there start her up and drive her right now before the damage is irreversible
I store mine from 1nov until 1 apr every year in Colorado. Start her about once a month. Never had any problems; keeps the miles off and every Spring i have a NEW CAR! Yea baby! That's what I'm talking about!
My bad on staring. I meant starting, although I really stare at the Corvette also. Good catch though. I downed 2 cups of coffee now so I should be more alert.
During the summer I drive it about 3 times per week. In the fall/winter it is more like once every 3-4 weeks. Thanks for the inputs.
Just took her for a short jaunt. Wiped her down. Hooked up the battery tender. Covered, tucked in until I can't stand it again.
I'll have withdrawls when it snows. Oh well that's life in the Midwest.
Bob

Me too, but I don't do it long enough to worry about STORING it fer christsakes. Perhaps you've set the bar a bit high to get a "treat"?
