Individual Car Specs

I wanted to know what kind of rear diff gears and some other options that might be installed. Where can I find this information?

Automatics came with either 2.73 or 3.15...all manuals came iwth a 3.42. The Z06's have a slightly more agressive geared transmission called the MN 12.

Other than engine type (only a player in Z06 model years,) and body type (Coupe, Vert, or FRC) there is no info on options in the VIN. All your info should be in the RPO list on the back of one of the storage compartment lids.

Something you can do is take your VIN to a dealer and have them run a history on the car. This will give you a listing of every option that came on the car and will include the rear gearing.
