hell yeah it out flows the stock Ti basically it is straight through no restrictions and it sounds great and is a lot lighter then the stock Xpipe and axle back but it is very pricey
The Corsa Ti is IDEAL: light weight, option of running mufflers or straight pipes, great flow, LOTS more sound (but similar-to-stock raspy tone). Oh, and no resonance!
I don't know if the splitter is "functional" or not (are you going to be driving at the speeds where it would be functional?) -- but it looks great!

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

I wanted louder-than-stock, and I got it with the Corsa Ti's. But, I was also running with the mufflers. Whereas the sound was nice, I thought I'd see what it sounded like without the mufflers, knowing I could take them off and put them right back on if I didn't like it. Well, I took 'em off, and they've never been back on. And, mind you, these are mated up to TPIS long tubes.PA Z06 (Nando) has heard the car without the mufflers. We both agree that it sounds pretty good in this form.

My wife would be the first one to tell me that the car's too loud inside if it were (trust me on this one
). But she hasn't complained once about it. It really is NOT "too loud," I don't think. And, despite being loud, it's a good loud (not obnoxious sounding), and it doesn't drone. Isn't that what we all want in an exhaust?
Thanks for the compliments!

I DID manage to smash it into a parking block lately.
But, even then, I did so only 'cause I wasn't paying attention for that split second (I wouldn't pull up tightly on a parking block WITHOUT the splitter), and despite the sickening sound it made, it only just crazed the paint in a small aread while the fiberglass all stayed intact.-Kirk

If possible, opt for the system with BOTH the mufflers and the straight pipe sections. I've seen folks looking for one or the other after the fact -- and since everyone is different, I think you should have both options available to you so that you can see which option you prefer. Again, once everything else is in place on the car, the muffler swap in/out is a 10 minute job (with just a jack-up of the rear), so it's easy to see which set up you like best.

**Oh & to Steve, Don't quote me on this as I'm just learning about this system, but I believe It's approx. 12-15 Lbs lighter~I'm sure you'll get the right answer though. ~CHRIS

Put Borla straight pipes on it.
If you want light weight then Borla Stingers are probably the lightest after their straight pipes...at least they should be light by the looks of them.
