Im doing some research because sometime in the future Im going to buy a vette and I like to have all my bases covered. I love torch red and electron blue. Those are the only colours I would choose. Also I NEED a coupe. I have had one sports car with a removeable roof and wont go without it.
So...I need to know if you can get a Mod red interior in a C5 coupe, with torch red/electron blue exteriors? I have only ever seen it in Z06's and I could never see myslef in a hardtop.
Mod red is only an option in the Z06... you can get a full torch interior in the coupes which is very badass to me.
You can always buy the parts from GM and convert whichever car you buy. So find the color and the options you want w/ black interior and mod from there.

Thanks. I think you have the right idea. Has anyone ever done this? Pics? Rough estimate of price from the dealer? Are there any aftermarket vendors that do replacement seat skins?

Lots of aftermarket offerings - just off the top of my head: VetteEssentials, ECS, Mid-America, Al Knoch, Caravaggio, and probably some more on e-bay. Prices range from mild to wild
It also wouldn't surprise me (I just read somewhere, where someone did this) Find the one you want, find a Z06 guy and see if he would do a switch with you.

On a stock coupe, mod red interior was not an option. But, you can do like me and ditch the stock interior and go with one from Vette Essentials. You won't regret it.
