What to do about peeling console ?

What to do about peeling console ?
The "clear coat" on my front console ( houses the ash tray, radio, A/C, etc.) is peeling in two places. I'm sure it's from my right leg laying against it. What are my options to fix it? Can it be repaired or is a new one the way to go?

I've seen a couple manufacturers that make texture coating. SEM was one of them.
If you just need the color fixed, you can get spray dye from someone like VHT.
Or you could do like mentioned above, sand paint etc. and go for a unique look.
