I'm wanting to put hoops behind the seats on my car and I'll be covering them in leather myself. My question is... I don't want to spend 400.00 for them since you won't see the chrome. I'd like to simply buy the tubing, mandrel bent, to the same specs like the ones sold on corvette websites. I'd like the tubes to be the larger 3 inch size. Does anyone know what the measurements, demensions are for these hoops? Is there anyone on here who have made their own or had them made. Do you have photos and measurements, demensions your willing to share? I'd also like to know what the measurements are for the base piece that the hoops are attached to.
The hoops online with the leather covering that sell for 695.00 are smaller in diameter but have the padding. Whats the actual size of this tubing and the thickness of the padding?
Any suggestions or help with information would be greatly appreciated.
THANKS !!!!
