Transparent Top Optical Damage

Hello,
Is your 2003 or newer C5 "clear" top micro-cracking/delaminating ?
What is the year of your car and where is the car located?

We are not interested in scratches, but only in the deteriorating optical quality of your top. Typically, they are called:
Micro-cracking
Micro-grazing
Spider webbing
Delaminating
Flaking
I think you get my point about the type of defect I am polling about.

I ask this because we are doing research on the top and may be interested in buying a few of your old top for the cost of an OEM replacement top.

Yes mine has the micro cracking. Vette is a 2000 and located in Florida.

Ok, I'm in for a new top.

2001 located in North Dakota.

Top is Micro-grazing or spiderwebbing.

No longer have the transparent top, but I had it for 8 years (98-06) on my C5. I had dual tops and mostly used the painted top as the transparent top was simply too hot most of the time in this climate. Anyways, after 8 years of limited use, it was in perfect condition.

I don't keep mine on year round, just in the cooler winter months. So far, it's still like new.

I have lite Micro Webbing over 90% of the top. Top was on the car from birth. East Coast Virginia

All of the above...... 2000 TR Coupe, only have glass top, live in Boise, first owner was in Salt Lake City.

My 2003 clear top looks like new but it's always in a garage when not being driven and is never parked in the sun for more than a few hours at a time.

My 2000 has the micro-cracking and starting to get the delamination down the passenger side. I am in central FL.

2000 with very bad micro cracks and the passenger side has a 3 inch wide stripe where it is starting to flake off.

Co worker's 98 has bad micro cracks and the passenger side has a 3 inch stripe that is completly gone.
