I'm getting to repaint my car...... I want something really different from the normal magnetic reds or blues. I saw a car painted with what the owner called "brandy-wine candy". He didn't have any information on the makeup of the paint. Anyone heard of this color or where I can get a sample?
paint it that copper orange they used on the dodge trucks and chargers...or go nuts and paint it flat black i bet you will never see one like it around.....
I have used this paint on a Harley. It is a beautiful color. It is candy apple red in sunlight and under streetlights at night it is almost black cherry and colors of candy red in between. If you want to see a Corvette painted that exact color go to Caravaggio's website. He has a wide body corvette he painted Brandywine candy. It is awesome!! If you can't find it on their site just email him and he will send the photos to you.

Went to Caravaggio's website...couldn't find the wide body car or an email address. Do you have an email address?
do it black cherry, another HOK collor. Basically its a black base coat then you shoot a few coats of a translucent red over it. At night it will look black, but when light hits it you will get a red glow. In the day light you would see a reddish black with accents of a brighter red. It would look awsome on a vette IMO.
Brandywine is an awesome Kandy Kolor. Before you repaint your car with a true kandy, make sure you understand what "Kandy" means.
The best way to describe a kandy paint? Think of kool aid. The color is translucent to the color you see is dependent upon both the base color under the kandy and the amount of kandy applied. A true kandy paint is very, very difficult to match and almost always will require a complete repaint in the event of a minor accident.
When I complete all of my exterior mods, I plan to repaint a portion of my car in a dark kandy purple. For one I like dark kandy purple and two, a darker kandy provides an opportunity to match the color. The black cherry mentioned above would be very similar to what I'll be doing.
