LS1 or LS6

Hello, Just wondering....What's the difference between an LS1 and an LS6? I mean is there a 2,3,4,5....I have a stock C5 03 and wondering what mine has in it....thanks...tom3257

You have an LS1. The LS6's were found in the Z06's and the Cadillac CTS-V's. As far as the engine differences, the LS6 has slightly higher compression ratio, a more aggressive cam, better flowing heads, a higher redline, better pistons, stronger valve springs, etc.
