Im a newbie here guys.. just wanted to say hello ... I live in Upstate NY so she will be going in the garage shortly ..just bought my dream car a 2002 Black on Black baby with only 9600 miles .. Any tips for a rookie here ? Im stepping up from a Mustang GT ...
Welcome from Indiana where we store out babies for the winter too! My advice to you is don't do what I did with my first vette. I made it a garage queen and when I sold it someone got themselves a fine car for cheap. DRIVE IT DRIVE IT DRIVE IT. It won't melt in rain and dirt will wash off!!! Have fun!

1) WELCOME to CF
2) Read about the "ins / outs" of your vette on the stickys (forum threads at the top of each category) There's TONS of info there you'll want to know
3) Whip out your wallet and let us all help you air it out. We're good at that. It's kinda like a "public service" that everyone helps with.
Where upstate do you live? Like upstate Albany or upstate upstate?
Drive the car weather permitting. I put mine away for the first 2 years and its not worth it. When you die you can't take your toys with you. Not saying beat on it but enjoy it. If the roads are clear take a ride.
Remember to wave - Didn't know that for the first couple of years owning my car. (sorry)
