Default Need Houston, TX Support!

I have been trying to get an alignment on my car and it appears no one can get it on their machine. Where do you guys go in the Houston area to align your lowered Z?

Please adevise.

Thanks in advance,
Rob

most shops i know don't have a lift small enough to get the car up on without scratching. What you can do is bring a 1" tall block of wood to set in front of the ramps. Discount tire did this with my mom's 98 vert when we were switching out tires.

Or if you prefer, there's a shop on louetta near I45 called Frank's Vettes. If he can't do it, He probably knows sombody who could. i'm going by there today so i'll ask him.

Try Southwest Alignment Service. They're at 8648 Richmond Ave.. Phone: 713-783-5282. I've heard they can handle the oversized aftermarket wheels and lowered vehicles.

I would steer clear of there, they tore the exhaust off my mustang getting it off the alignment rack, and they didnt do the alignment correctly. Just had the Z done at.......crap cant remember now, but they are on 290 and west rd. Did a great job on my lowered car.

Call Richey's Collision. This is THE place to go in Houston. Corvettes are their main clientele. My car is there right now. Our cars can make friends when yours gets there.

Do NOT go to Courtesy Chevrolet for an alignment. All four of my wheels have three marks where they clamped the alignment tool onto the wheel and then they wouldn't even provide me with a printout.

$80 for me at Southwest Alignment, but took them a 2nd try to make it stop pulling to the right. Tell them your car is LOW or they will drive it out the driveway and scrape the nose. Not sure if I would go back there or not...

I agree. Chris does not have an alignment machine to my knowledge.
I have used Copperfield Goodyear for the last three years. Paul does an excellent job and is very patient. Mine is not lowered, so either go by or call and talk to him to see if yours would be a problem. I don't recommend shops lightly. Paul is the kind of person who will work with you to get things right and he personally test drives the car afterwards. I would just go by and let him take a look.
HTH,
Robert

Benson's Auto in Webster on Highway 3 did a good job aligning my '04 coupe. No problems at all. They've been around for awhile (20+ years) and have an honest reputation.

I highly recommend Frank's Vettes on Louetta. Great guy. Much better than COH. Frank does all my work.
