Ok guys and gals, I'm looking at a 2001 Z06 I am thinking about buying. I drove it today and it seems very tight and well maintained. He is the second owner and has only put about 2000 miles on it in the 10 months he has owned it. He says he has had no oil usage problems, but he has not driven it much or very hard. My question is, I did a code check while looking at the car and these are what came up.
99-HVAC
B0361 Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B0367 Right Actuator Feedback Open
A0-LDCM
B2262 Horizontal Position Sensor Fit
B2264 Vertical Position Sensor Fault
B2282 Battery #1 Fault
B2284 Battery #2 Fault
U1096 Loss of Communication With IPC
A1-RDCM
B2283 Battery #1 Fault
B2285 Battery #2 Fault
U1064 Loss of Communication with BCM
U1096 Loss of Communication with IPC
U1255 Serial Data Line Malfunction
As I said, I have driven the car and power windows work fine. So are these codes serious potential problems or just codes possibly caused by battery being replaced or disconnected at some point? AC worked cold on both driver and passenger side also. I know some of you can help. Thanks in advamce for any info!!!

When I first got my 01 Z I had numerous codes however all were H or history codes. Were any of them C or current codes. On mine all were history and I reset them found and also found I had a bad battery and none came back. These things are voltage sensitive and they will throw all sorts of codes if they have low voltage.
Probably history, but I did not notice a C or H in the code. How do you tell? He had never seen the codes pulled so I know he has never reset them. Thanks!!

Looks like a battery heading south... take a look at the positive terminal on it and make sure it isn't dripping acid down onto the PCM.
Could be a battery since most of the codes are voltage related. The U codes happen all the time so are not a real indicator of problems.
The position sensor codes are for the mirror position.
The LH Door Control Module (LDCM) receives a horizontal position signal from the LH mirror horizontal position sensor. This signal is used by the LDCM for memory recall functions to determine the horizontal position of the LH mirror. The LDCM commands the mirror memory settings based upon the voltage level the LDCM receives back from the horizontal position sensor. The LDCM provides a 5 volt supply, a signal, and a ground to the horizontal position sensor. The horizontal position sensor is a variable resistor which the LDCM monitors the voltage level across. When a memory setting is recalled, the LDCM will command the LH mirror motor in the appropriate direction until the stored position sensor voltage level is achieved. The LDCM also monitors the LH mirror horizontal position signal circuit and can determine if the voltage level received is out of range. If the voltage level is out of range, then a malfunction is present and a DTC will set.
The HVAC codes are common, and are NOT indicative of a battery issue.. As for the doors... I'd check grounds and battery terminals before throwing a battery at it..
