Default a/c always on

When I use the auto feature on the thermostat, it always lights the a/c button unless I turn the temp up big time...is this normal?
If not, what should I do?

Default key fob?

So if I reset the key fob #1 with the a/c off my temp will reset as well as seats? This is a 98, I did not know I had memory settings

Leave it alone, your car knows better than you as to what you want...

I can`t stand the controls on my car, there is like 50 pages in the manual on how to use them...way too complicated...

Mine does the same thing. It does seem an unneccessary engine load for cold weather, but I believe the A/C runs to balance out the heat to maintain the cabin temperature that you set.

Just press your "A/C " button and it will turn off the compressor but keep the fan running.
Enjoy the ride!!

The reason why the A/c is on is because of the humidity in your car....that is also what the sensor next to your key is for. It monitors the air and temp in your car. If you push it at first it will blink and eventualy go off
