John those looks sweet... but w/ the C5-R covers and the CF ones there's no provision for oil fill or the fresh air tube in the passenger side cover that goest to the TB.

The covers are tall enough to clear any aftermarket valvetrain, so there is a function to follow the form.
The covers will include 2 carbon valve covers, an oil fill cap, and either 1 vacuum port and a PCV valve or no provisions at all. Also included are the stainless steel coil pack relocation brackets, all hadware for the covers and coil packs, and a set of new GM gaskets. We will have an option for deletion of the coil brackets, but as they don't cost too much, there will not be a very big price reduction, probably under $50.
How thick is the carbon fiber? I am wondering if it can be drilled successfully without breaking the valve cover so that additional breather fittings can be attached. Forced induction applications will probably need around a -12AN fitting on there somewhere to route to a breather (or just breath through a breather on the oil fill tube).
I've ordered the valve covers, Phil (phil97svt) is relocating the coils as he finished the 402/L82/L76. Phil modified the stock return style fuel rail but I will be going with the aftermarket fuel rail system and regulator later this winter....Just because it looks so incredibly cool.
I went with the SDPC ones because they don't leak like most aftermarket ones do.
How are you going to vent the motor? Is there a provision for the line that goes from the stock passenger side cover to the throttle-body? How will you run it w/ the LS2 TB and new maifold?

I'll either weld taps on the back of them or drill and tap for brass fittings. I prefer the latter but both will be hidden by the firewall.
