Pics: Renfro Valley Corvette Show
Here are pics of the "Renfro Valley Car Show" I attended this weekend in Eastern KY. It was a beautiful setting for a great group of awesome vettes.
I want to thank Stan Stinnett (Wildcat99), president of the 'Bluegrass Corvette Club', and all the members of the club for such a fantastic day. Stan is one of those great guys, who after just the first minutes of meeting, I felt like I had known forever. I assure everybody here that he represents the corvette community with greatest passion and up-most class..
It was great seeing Tracy (TRAYC6) & Ernie again and also meeting several new friends at the event.
(Thanks Ernie and Stan for helping me get my truck/trailer out of the tight spot I was in.)
Stan, you and your club are truly a 'Class Act'!...
To give you an idea of the picturesque surroundings, the first pic is the old Mill House with the water wheel that was right beside the show area.
The next two pics are of Stans' awesome 2003 M/Y vette.

Thanks for the kind words Jim. I've been lucky enough to meet some great people on the forum. I'm even luckier to have had a chance to spend some time with the owner of the finest car I've ever seen, and now I call him on of my great friends. Jim, the pleasure was all mine and I look forward to many future events with you! You made my day! For anyone that has never seen his car in person, as great as all the pictures are, no picture can do it justice.

...I didn't get a chance to ask him about the wipers... ....He was a very nice guy though and told me that it was one of 200 built...He also drives and races the car quite often, if I understood him correctly... ... Here's a couple more pics from the front and back. You can see the roll bar through the back window...
Wish I had better pics of the exterior, it was a beautiful vette...

..about the only thing that would have topped it off would have been if the leaves still had their Fall colors to them...The weather was awesome for November in this part of the country..mid 60's and plenty of sunshine...

I felt kinda foolish after you left Jim.The guy who owned the truck that had you blocked in was the owner of the small store where we were parked. I didn't think to go ask in there about whos truck it was. He came out right after you left and wanted to say he was sorry. You did a great job backing the trailer out of the place. If I had to back a trailer up like that, bad things would have happened. Talk to you soon!
