Just bought 2001 Z06
Well, I finally gave in to my desire to own a Z06. I currently own and have been driving an '89 vert. The difference is amazing to say the least. I have only owned it since Friday evening, but I will probably sell the vert now. The car has 51000 mile but seems very good and tight. It is quick silver and very good interior and exterior for mileage. I have never driven a car like this before and this is my seventh vette. Absolutely awesome!!! Not sure if spoiler (or whatever it is) will stay.

Im on my third vette, and like yourself i was amazed at the power of the zo6.Does not compare with the other model vettes.Now im just wondering how much quicker the new one is.But the price is dropping real quick on the new z.But i still think the c-5 body stile is much nicer to the eye. Enjoy the new power and be careful at first.

Yes, sell your '89 and put that money to good use!
I went from a heavily/thoroughly modified '92 6 speed coupe with over 430 RWHP to a bone stock '01 Z06. I do not miss my '92 one bit. I could not believe the "night and day" difference, either. Both cars are/were my 'everday' transportation. I feel stupid for waiting this long to get into a C5.
Sell that C4 'vert while it is still worth some decent money.
