Posted a previous thread “Door Locks will not work” and “Bakersfield” sent me a link on how to fix the problem. Purchased the new relay and installed it, which was no easy task. The same problem persists; doors will unlock but not lock. With the door panel off I can take a test light that is grounded and touch one of the lower relay terminals and the door locks will lock, touch the center relay’s terminal and the doors will unlock. But if I use the door lock/unlock button on the door panel or the remote they will unlock but not lock. Any more ideas????????
Your results mean the lock actuator works. it sounds like it ia a fault on the circuit board other than the relay...
I assume you changed the correct relay?? there are two... one to lock, the other to un-lock.
I had the problem of it would lock but not unlock. It wouldn't be a problem except there is no outside key hole on the passenger door so if you were opening the door for a lovely lady, you would have to go and unlock it from the inside. I took mine and had it fixed under warranty. They kept if for about 3 days. They had the door panel off and all up under the dash was hanging out. They said it was a ground problem with some of the wiring. Somewhat common they said. It works fine now though but I sure woudn't want to have done the job myself. Good luck on the fix
