Nice work. I did the same thing and used some Duplicolor interior plastic/vinyl paint to paint my beige transmitter faceplace black. It was really easy and came out perfect. You can buy the stuff at any autoparts store.

I thought about that, but since i have a tan interior, the tan homelink matchs really well and seem like a factory option.
did mine this summer, got it from a Jeep Grand Cherokee, they have these in a lot of different cars, Volvo's, Chyslers, Fords, just be sure to find one that has the house around the light, those work with rolling code openers, btw, did mine a little different, when my visors up its not visable, I had to be different
