I found a 2003 Z06 with 7400 miles. It doesn't have very many options. The dealor wants 37685.00 for the car. I think this price is high. What do you guys think?
There was a similar one in my area listed for $37k, but they didn't want to negotiate much. I ended up paying $34k for my 03Z w/ 13k miles. Since most are out of warranty anyway, your best bet may be to look into a private sale.

I just bought a 2003 z06 with 7014 miles for 33,500 plus tax and lic.
They were listing it for $38,888.
It came out to $37,500 out the door. I know I got a good deal...I live in Northern CA. I think cars just cost a lot more out here.
You can probably work them down a bit. You just have to be willing to walk away from the deal. I did. They ended up calling my cell phone when I walking to my car.
2 Months ago, I wasn't as tuff of a sale as some are, cause it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Black 03Z/ Mod Red interior only 13k miles
Extra's which made it perfect for me to pay 37k (down from their 39k asking price)
Borla cat-back
blackwind intake
FACTORY CROME RIMS (has GM stamped on the inside)
Partition done in black/mod red leather
trunk hole covers
upgraded pedals
I would have done all that myself anyways, so paying the extra 3-4k to get one here localy (only wanted black/mod red 03Z) and get the stuff on it was worth it to me, but I of course have seen 03Z just as low, if not lower milage, go for around 33k lately.
FWIW - there were only three options on the C5 Z06 to my knowledge -
memory seats
electrochromatic mirrors
floor mats
best regards-

Hello...you're correct on the number of available Z06 options. However, floor mats weren't one of the options (Chevy threw in flimsy floor mats on the Z06)...the 3rd option was the side moldings @ $150. Now that I'm thinking about it, there was also a 4th option for $750: paint color...my yellow paint was an option.
cruncher is correct, except: memory package which was seats and mirror setting. So:
1. memory package
2. chromatic mirrors (darken when set automatically at night, both inside and outside mirrors
3. body side molding
Yes, Lt1driver is correct regarding the memory package. On the chromatic mirrors, only the rearview and driver's side outside mirror is chromatic...right?
