Default Interior trim paint

Has anyone attempted painting small interior trim parts with plastic paint, such as Krylon " Fusion", VHT, or Rust-O-Leom.
I'm trying to duplicate the Lt.Oak finish on the door bezels.

I've done a few but as to exact matches, krylon/any other canned paint won't work. Best thing I've found is to scuff the parts lightly w/ a 200-400grit sandpaper, prime it, and have it painted w/ your correct paint code. If you have a paint gun and can paint, then just buy the paint and spray it yourself. I have access to a shop and some guns so I did it myself and it came out exact. Also, for the door bezel, I didn't paint it, I just clear coated them and they came out amazing. I actually just finished clear coating the HVAC system!! Basically all the plastic in my car has been painted to match and/or cleared.

Mid-America sells the interior dye - use their plastic prep first for plastic parts - their dyes match Corvette interior colors. Comes in spray cans of course

If you go this route, then yes it would work, but the krylon/homedepot base colors don't have a "tan" that comes close, so don't try!!haha

here are some pics.
don't mind some of the unfinished work!!haha this was after I was just putting the stereo in, but I didn't have it finished up, that's why it's sticking out and the side door panels are not clicked in, as I wasn't finished running wire.

You are welcome - I've used their products on all my vettes - their exterior touch up colors also match very well. GM stopped making the millennium yellow for my 95 - went to Mid-America Motorworks and sure enough they had the Millennium Yellow - matches great.
