Default Replace Fascia Question

I have a 01 Speedway White Coupe that has about a 6 to 8 inch split under the fascia. It is far enough under the front of the car that it is not noticeable. However, I was told within time it may split further and expose the damage.

It is possible to fix the problem without replacing and painting a new fascia or I can replace and paint a new fascia.

I would prefer replacing the fascia. My concern is matching the existing paint on the remainder of the car.

The dealership said there would not be a problem matching white paint as it is much easier than reds or blacks, etc.

My question for those with experience in such matters:

Is the dealership correct, would the car look as good or better than new with a new fascia and paint?

I have read on the Forum that some of you have the fascia painted periodically due to rock damage, etc. So maybe I am being paranoid, but the last thing I want is to drive around in a Corvette that has mismatched paint.

Thank you in advance.

Sounds like a great opportunity to go with a Tiger Shark front end or something similar. A good body shop should be able to match the paint perfectly, but they may have to blend a little on the fenders/hood.
