I don't know about 1500 but if they would give Forum members a good discount. They would sell more.

WCC sells chrome 505a's with a tire pakage. I'm not sure why they don't sell them seperately, but you might want to ask.

WCC / $4k for the package + $900 for the chroming. I'm still leary of the after thought chroming process given the what these things cost and the fact that CCW doesn't offer any wheel chromed. I search the "Parts For Sale" section pretty often. When I see wheels for sale that are chromed...even the top dollar ones, there is usually an issue with the chrome. Slight peeling, seems to be the key phrase.
If someone is going to charge $5K for wheels, shouldn't they be bullet proof?
What is the profit margin on these things?
Why can't someone chrome a wheel and make it last? I'm not going 4-wheelin' with the damn things.

I personally don't why anyone would ever want to put chrome on a beautiful polished aluminum wheel, like the CCWs.

Different Strokes for different folks!

Hell yeah John, drop a grand off a set a wheels! We'd all love it, with maybe exception of you, lol

I toured the CCW facility last February with Englandgreen and Cheezilla, these wheels are worth the price, one of the biggest selling points is the customer service, ask anyone that has needed the wheels refurbished(curbing, scratches, road hazards), the people at CCW always follow through with positive results, they set the standard

IMHO the polished aluminum gives the wheel that 'one-off' exotic look, If you could see the machining process it might help to understand

Hi Fred -

Pretty much what I said.

I am sending mine to Cal Chrome. I would almost bet that WCC used Cal Chrome anyway......

It is right around $700 for 4 19" CCW billet wheels at Cal Chrome plus shipping.

best regards -

You are not going to believe it but the price from Chris for the polished 505A was equal to the price from WCC for Chrome. Go figure.

Matter of fact Chris recommended WCC for Chrome Wheels.
