When I bought my vette I called a local Chevy Service Dept and had them pull up all the service history on the car. It told what recalls and warranty work was done on it. Plus service history like oil changes and what not.

Take it to any local dealer ,,, register your VIN with them and ask if all the recalls have been done.. It's always a good idea to go to a dealer and have them associate the VIN with your name and address, this way if there is any future recals they have the contact of the new owner..you,,
