a while back I read that a certain type of foreign car jack would go under a C-5 corvette... could you tell me which vechile jack that was???? also what type of floor jack is low enough to go under without running it up on boards??? The sissor jack would also fit in the box in the trunk while on the road..

If you're interested in one, ping CF member C5 Frederik; not sure if he's still doing it but I paid him 50 bux for one, and he shipped it from Germany (took a while but I got it )...it's a great little jack and it fits perfectly in one of the cubby holes in the trunk area.

The Mercedes jack is good for emergency road repairs. For the garage, I have a Craftsman aluminum racing jack that goes under the car just fine and lifts the car with no problem.
