Default Need help with interior repairs

Can someone advise how to repair a small tear on the interior of the left pillar post near windshield? It's barely noticebale; it must have been there when I bought it. Just saw it when sun hit it just right.

Also, I have a small worn area beginning on the driver's seat at the mid section; looks like it may begin to tear at the seam.

Thanks in advance.

I have experience with the A-pillar trim panel. Mine was sliced by the guy doing an annual inspection when he was scraping a sticker off. I tried repairing it with a leather repair kit but wasn't happy with the looks. You can buy a new trim panel from GM Parts Direct for about $60.00 or get it from the dealer. It's held on by 3 or 4 metal clips. It just pops off and the new one pops on. Its a 15 minute job. PM me if you need more info.

If the tear in the seat is at a seam, an upholstery shop may be able to re-sew it. It's just one of those things they will probably have to take a look at and see if the repair can be done easily. Or, take the opportunity to get a new set of custom seat covers.
