Chpped windshield replacement by insurance?
Will ins. pay to replace a chipped windshield or will they make you do the cheapy repair?
I got a tiny chip in my HUD WS.

It usually depends on where the chip is. I believe that if the chip is in an area in front of the driver that they will replace the windshield. Many insurance companies will repair the chip without any deductible. You need to check with your agent.

It's durn near in front of my eyes, just up and to the right of my right eye.

Nationwide paid the whole enchilada for my chip repair. Looked like a little waterspot after it was done. Didn't notice it unless I really looked for it.
