O2 Sim with header install questions
I was just reading through the Long tube header install walkthrough and noticed it said I need 02 sims if I am not going to run a custom tune.
I was just wondering I was planning on tuning in a couple weeks if I don't have 02 sims will the car run ok till I get it tuned? Should I wait to do the install untill I am ready to tune?
Don't know if it matters but I bought LG street series longtubes with cats. Thanks for any help.

No problem driving the car, since you've got LT's with cats you probably won't have a problem anyway. But, if you get an Engine Check Light, it won't hurt anything and it's easily cleared. Just check the thread on clearing codes. No need for Sims, if your going to get a tune, as the rear sensors can be turned off.

No problems. Many run their cars for a while after LT's with no tune.
It may code.
A tune will cure that and give you more of what you are expecting out of the header upgrade.
