Default Any hints/tips for varam install ?

I could use some direction on what I hope is a simple process but looks intimidating.

I have been using the setup without connecting to my zo6 screens and am happy with the performance but suspect that I could free up a couple more hp with the closed loop.

Thanks in advance
Steve

I've read that your fit will be a lot easier/better if you don't screw the front parts of the intake to the rear of the fascia, but rather just slip fit them and let them float there. I didn't know that trick when I installed mine and it was pretty terrible trying to get everything to line up, and it still needs some adjustment.

Chris,

Were you able to do it without removing the nose (bumper cover) ?

I can't see how there is enough room to fit the collector part into that small small space.

I hope somebody has pictures of the step by step process so I can ive in without wasting hours trying to do it the wrong way.

Yep, the radiator shroud and the access covers under the nose come off to let you get behind everything.

Mine fit very badly at first. I took it apart again to remove the inner fascia bolts, and everything kinda fell into place.

The more that people chime in, I"m beginning to feel optimistic but does anybody have an idea what it would cost to have somebody else do it ? or now that they have done it, what would they charge to do it for somebody else ?

( I was hoping that the gadget fairy would show up after I go to bed and finish the job but it looks like I have to do it myself )

i drove mine up on ramps ,then the install is much easier,,you will need the help of a friend ..and you will have to play with the spacers they give you to get the right fit ,since all of these may vary....if i remember correct i used i small shim on the passenger side and 2 shims on the drivers side...it took us about 3 1/2 hours but i made sure it looked right before i stopped...take your time and it will fit together nicely,,
