I know of someone that had one of them that collapsed after a snowstorm right onto their car (camaro).

Nope... It's a conversion kit to turn your C5 into a ski boat.

I've had the same for 3 years. The 87 winters there and it works out great. As far as snow load, I guess you would have to use common sense about what part of the snow country you live in. The tarp would tear before the frame collapsed.

That is what I am looking for. Anyone else have a similar product. What is the thickness of the covering?

I'm not familar with the Cover-It brand. The trick is, take it down in the summer. Like I said, I'm starting my 3rd winter and it's in very good shape. I'm sure the summer sun would destroy it pretty quickly also.

I've had one for over 12 years, it's very tough, the snow stacks several feet every canadian winter and not a rip, I guess they make them for milder winters too, mine is made by some company in quebec the label is stitched on the cover with the phone number, I could get you the info if you'd like. I paid about 600 canadian back then but now they go for half that from what I've seen.

I bought one from E-Bay , a store on there named "Detailer of Stars" . The seller is from CT , and he delivered mine to my house at no extra charge . I highly recommend him. I think his name is Angelo .

Ok, now my curiousity is piqued......what are the dimensions of those things. Width is not an issue. How tall/long are they? Ooh....I feel a brainstorm coming on.
