zo6 motor?

What might one of your guys engines be worth if it needed a piston, a reworked combustion chamber, and possibly a sleeve. A buddy of mine came across one that had a piston to valve issue but was running before it was removed from the vehicle. He is looking to sell anyone interested? Be a great project engine. I really want it for my 91 but seeing as how I'am broke and I hear that swap is a complete pita I must pass.

Been there. A brand new aluminum block is cheaper than repairing the old one, <$1000. Might as well get new pistons, etc while you are at it. Same goes for heads.
