Default ZO6 Flares on a C5

Searched for a thread I saw some time ago about fitting 2006/7 ZO6 rear fender flare moldings on a C5.
Anyone??
I am in the process of fitting a pair now and wonder about how to attach them. 3M double sided tape?

Yes 3m tape for top part and I forget what it's called on bottom. Mine have been on for a number of months and look and work great.

the provided double sided tape, push pins, and a whole lot of hand shaping are what gets these to work.

I hear you on the hand shaping. Worked on one side for nearly 2 hours and have just about got a good fit.
Hope mine look as good as yours!
Thanks for the post.

Used doublesided tape and a couple of screws top and bottom to secure the flare.
Just a heads up if you're considering the front flares.......They wont work. The flare is incorporated into the fender liner and even if you cut it off, the radius is different at the bottom of the fender. I know this from experience.

also do a search for "splash guards" in the current and history archives and you'll find threads from me and others with part numbers and order info.

Per a post today, Gene is no longer at Fred Beans. Do a search for "announcement" in C5 Gen, he announced it this morning.

Those do look good on a C5 - and I agree a vendor should be making these.

Not the greatest shots of the flares but if you look real close, you'll see that I "thinned" my out by about 3/4" to give it a sleeker profile. Just comes down to personal preference...they look good either way

Put the moldings on today. RH very little fitting, LH much. I checked out the ZO6 fronts and as noted above they have a big piece that goes into the wheel well. I used 3M double sided tape and some contact cement at the very top & bottom. Ecklers sells front & rear ZO6 style flares made for the C5, I ordered a front set today.
GM part # for the rears 15818636 & 37; $40 each , but with my club discount were $30.
Thanks for all the posts.
